This statement can have 2 meanings: either the Father is greater in nature, essence (divinity) or authority than Christ. Let’s see which of the 2 Jesus refers to.

For muslims
Muslims tries to quote this verse against Jesus divinity but yet the verse proves that islam is false because Christ declares that God is his Father and contradicts the belief that Allah has no son ! So either you accept or not as true this verse your cult remains deceptive.
The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah,” while the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” Such are their baseless assertions, only parroting the words of earlier disbelievers. May Allah condemn them! How can they be deluded from the truth ?
